Welcome to the BioNLP and Text Mining lab at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) at the University of Delaware!

Our lab focuses on research with many exciting projects in diverse areas such as bioinformatics, text mining, and natural language processing. Our faculty and students publish high quality conference and journal papers each year and have received a number of "best paper" nominations and awards. Support for our lab is provided through a multitude of research grants from outside agencies such as the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
